At the end of 2020, Active Space Technologies challenged university teams to develop robot navigation technology using artificial intelligence. Eleven teams responded to the call, which included more than 25 students from various Portuguese universities (Braga, Coimbra, Lisbon, Porto). The outcome will be presented in a dedicated ceremony to take place on 10 June, 3 pm, at the Physics Department of the University of Coimbra. In addition to the awards ceremony, an interactive exhibition of the most promising technologies for three-dimensional localization and mapping will be held.
